Open Door Marketing - Business Class Case Study
15 September 2006

Open Door Marketing was established in 2002 by Diane Bagulay and offers clients over 20 years professional experience in sales and bespoke telemarketing support.  The company benefits from a track record of consistently delivering results that exceed expectations and offers service across four broad business sectors; Business Development, Relationship Management, Sales and Marketing and Business Support.

The team of six is based at offices in St Ives and provides a range of flexible telephone based services for nationwide clients.  They offer both inbound and outbound call handling and place a strong emphasis on relationship building on behalf of clients ensuring maximum client satisfaction and consistent target delivery at all times.

Media speculation has eroded customer confidence in badly managed and overseas call centres whereas Opendoor Marketing has responded to a genuine need for higher values and takes client’s reputations and their customer needs very seriously.

When setting up Opendoor Marketing Diane sought pre-start business advice and attended a number of breakfast seminars which is where she met Sue Addison, Director of Cambridgeshire Business Services (CBS).  Since then Diane and her employees have attended a number of training courses run by CBS including Effective Presentations, Investors in People and Reviewing, Appraising and Objective Setting.

Diane commented: “The courses run by CBS provide us with the knowledge and experience we are looking for and are essential to our job roles and our training needs analysis.

“CBS is always ready to listen to our specific training needs and takes our suggestions on board when developing new course programmes.  I know myself and my team always leave the training sessions armed with new skills which directly relates to what we need to do in our daily roles.  Some courses are very good at the theory but lack the necessary practice.  CBS’ courses always deliver which is why we keep coming back for more.”
